The fundamental thing that holds people hostage and keeps them from writing the book(s) they are meant to write is fear. Yes, fear. Even when people insist that they just don't have the time to write, if we peel back that "reason" we'll likely find a bundle of fear.
Fear shows up in a myriad of ways. Questions like "Who am I to write a book?" and "Why would anyone want to read anything that I write?" is fear showing up as doubt. |
Procrastination, analyzing, researching, and perfectionism are clever masks that fear wear.
